Meet Ivy, the official mascot of this blog.
I rescued Ivy on September 14, 2013, at an adoption event at my local PetSmart. She came from Arkansas, where she was abused and abandoned at 3 months old. On the day I took her home, she was so malnourished and weak that she could barely walk.
She weighed only 10 pounds.
She weighed only 10 pounds.
Now, Ivy is happy and healthy at 40 pounds.
Me and my two main doggies: Ivy (left), and her Uncle Scout (right) |
Ivy has lots of hobbies, which include:
Going on adventure hikes
Taking naps
Going for car rides with Uncle Scoutie
Yoga
And, of course, spending time with her mom.
Ivy's dreams include:
1. Finding out just who, exactly, is a good girl, and
2. Helping every abandoned dog find a happy home.
A special thank you to Pack Leaders Rescue, who brought my angel to me.
